My Story
My name is Tabitha Hendricks I have a B.S. in Social Work from Texas A&M- Commerce, M.A. in Counseling- Mental Health from Prairie View A&M University, with a LPC-A. I have experience working as a high school counselor for a charter school. I have experience working as a CPS conservatorship worker for the Texas department of family protective services. I also spent more than a decade in education as teacher, and administrator. I have gained experience working with men, women, children and adolescents in various community settings, and through school counseling. I have a non-profit called Beneath the Badge. An organization dedicated to building and strengthening the bond between law-enforcement and youth in schools. My preferred models of therapy are Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
